Product Description

The S-LAB™ Automated Plate Handler is an entry level automation solution designed for loading single instruments (plate washers, bulk reagent dispensers, plate readers).  It has been designed for easy installation and out of the box use. With its on-board computer it is capable of operating standalone, loading SLAS/ANSI microplates onto a wide variety of benchtop instruments, from any manufacturer. For an ever growing list of standard instruments we can offer an “off the shelf” package that can be installed in less than an hour. Control is simple. S-LAB™ is controlled via an intuitive easy to use software interface on either a tablet, laptop or smartphone. For other instruments we can offer a bespoke integration service using our Overlord software.

S-LAB attaches securely to your instrument with a simple location mechanism ensuring once set up S-LAB continents to work reliably. S-LAB is supplied with a number of stack packages so is easily optimised for your application.

Storage Components

Six slot-in S-Lab™ base units are supplied and can be mounted around the plate handler. Each base unit can
accommodate the following S-Lab™ storage components.

Stacks (Last in first out) 25 x unlidded ANSI SLAS 1-2004 microplates (max height 15mm)
20 x lidded ANSI SLAS 1-2004 microplates (combined height 17mm)
Deep well stacks (Last in first out) 6 x ANSI SLAS 1-2004 deep well plates (max height 50mm)
Shelves 4 x lidded or unlidded ANSI SLAS 1-2004 microplates
(maximum height (random access) 15mm)
Plate park A single microplate position to re-grip the microplate,
improving plate loading accuracy and allowing barcode reading.
