Safety overload protection is built into both the robot‘s base and the wrist for dependable protection against damage if there is a collision. Power is a safe 24 VDC, and the robot consumes less than 150 watts at maximum output.

This robot has options for barcode scanner, linear rail extension, numerous gripper configurations, as well as 0ºC, 40ºC, and high-humidity environments.

  • 470 Standard height: Our most common option, providing capacity for up to 90 microplates with the standard 4 base stack
  • 660 Extended height: Provides additional capacity and allows instruments to be stacked upon each other, making use of vertical space within the laboratory
  • 250 Short height: The shortest option allows the KiNEDx arm to fit within height restricted fume hoods

Grippers

We build both pneumatic and electric end-effectors to function as the “hand” in your automated system. Our standard units are made to fit directly onto the KiNEDx and BiNEDx robots and are designed to handle most available types of microplates, tube racks and tip boxes. They can also be easily modified for non-standard applications.
